Melissa Wheeler Blettner is the CEO of Boyd Hollow Resorts and the creative force behind Ancient Lore Village in Knoxville, TN. With more than two decades of leadership in hospitality and destination development, Melissa is known for transforming guest experiences through storytelling, wellbeing, and purpose-driven design.

Her career began with building the Great Wolf Lodge brand, where she played a pivotal role in shaping it into a nationally recognized leader in themed resorts. Today, she brings that same passion and innovation to Boyd Hollow Resorts, leading with a mission of “hospitality with purpose.”

Melissa is also the author of the upcoming book Leading with HEART™, where she introduces her HEART Leadership philosophy — Hospitality, Expectations, Alignment, Resilience, and Trust. As a speaker, she blends humor, authenticity, and practical lessons to inspire leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to create connection, trust, and thriving businesses.
