In this new normal, certain things will never go back to the way they were and our inner creature of habit has been thrown into doing something completely different. Everything that once felt safe and secure, is now uncomfortable and unfamiliar territory. People’s identity was so wrapped up in what they do, instead of who they are, so we were forced to figure out how to use our skills to grow in new, innovative ways. So, what do you do when you don't get to choose your back being up against the wall? What do you do when you’re thrown into the Uncomfort Zone?
In this talk, Lauren shares the secret to thriving in the new normal and it starts with inviting yourself into the discomfort because that is where your untapped success lies. She walks you through how life's challenges are the key to propelling you forward and finding your power within the Uncomfort Zone.
Lauren Danielle Keynote Speaker | Author | Nutritionist
In 2013, life was anything but ideal for Lauren Danielle Simms. She was working 80+ hours a week as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, Master Clinical Nutritionist, Metabolic Coordinator, running boot camps, cocktailing, waiting tables, and more. And she was exhausted, super exhausted. She spent ten years in this industry, driving all over the Denver metro area to lead fitness classes, meet with clients, and scramble to make everything work all at the same time.
The truth is Lauren was miserable, overworked, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, and broke. It got to the point where she was sitting on the floor in her empty apartment, broke and burnt out when she decided to take control of her life. Less rat-race, more purpose and passion. She purposefully started to create a rebellion of the life she was living and run towards the life she wanted, to be fit and free and full of life!
You may be wondering what your purpose is in life? Is this all life is about? You may be wondering if you’re “enough”: good enough, rich enough, smart enough, lovable enough. Maybe you’re afraid of your own potential. Life isn’t about playing it safe or coloring inside the lines. There may be people in your life, even yourself, telling you that you “can’t”. Your “can’t’s” are holding you hostage, a tyrannical chain on your potential.
Think back to when you were a kid. You believed you could do anything! When did you stop believing in yourself? When did you start restricting yourself and allowing others to limit your potential? What if you could break free of your past limitations? What if your life could become truly extraordinary? What if this was your time to ignite the greatest revolution of your life?
