About:
UT Federal Credit Union was chartered on May 15, 1969, and headquartered in Knoxville, TN. UTFCU was founded on the philosophy that a credit union is a financial cooperative owned by members who share a common interest such as work, education or association.
The heart of a credit union is its membership and as such seeks to encourage savings, provide members with access to lower cost loans and support the financial well being of its members. Today, UT Federal Credit Union has assets of over $161 million and more than 25,000 members. For more information visit online at

Unique Qualities:
UT Federal Credit Union is committed to education and we were founded with ties to the University of Tennessee. We believe strongly in educating our members and providing them with the information they need to be successful through out their lifetime.
Who can benefit most:
Anyone who lives, works, regularly conducts business, worships, or attends school in the Counties of Knox, Anderson, Blount, Loudon, and Union in Tennessee.
Anyone looking for a bank where they truly matter, where their vote counts, and service take priority. Parents who want a better and exciting way to teach kids to save. Businesses who want to save on fees, earn dividends, and want great service.
Helping others:
UT Federal Credit Union is a big believer in helping others. And every year UT Federal Credit Union gives back to the communities in which it serves. Since 1997 the credit union has donated $201,000 to the universities in the form of scholarships and endowments. The credit union also contributes money for supplies to entities such as UT Medical Center, East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, and the March of Dimes.
An example of UT Federal Credit Union’s commitment to education can also be seen in the sponsorship of the NEFE (National Endowment for Financial Education) High School Planning Program. This is a free resource for teachers and parents to help high school students achieve real-world financial literacy. For more information on this program visit
