The reason I love eWomenNetwork so much is that without it my business would not be where it is today. You see, I am in the weight loss business and while so many people acknowledge that they need to lose weight, no one appreciates me handing them a card and saying, "you know I think I can help you". eWomenNetwork allows me instead to have a platform that can include everyone. Now I can walk up to anyone and invite them to introduce their business to my network so I can begin to help network their business. I never have to open my mouth about what it is I do because once they come to an Accelerated Networking event, everyone does that for me. I use these events to brand myself by always having a table and making myself visible to the whole room. Trust me; I invite everyone I meet whether I am in Knoxville where I live or on an airplane going anywhere. I truly believe in bringing resources to this network because I believe in the army mentality. I don't just want the person I've invited, I want their entire army. Did I mention I love the Matchmaker Program? Well I do and so should everyone. I am on my way to being a five-time Matchmaker. Being a Matchmaker gives you the opportunity to stand in front of the whole chapter and tell them what it is that you do. I love standing in front of the chapter and telling them why everyone needs to be a Matchmaker! See every time we add a new member that is a chance to not only meet a new person, but possibly have access to their 250 people in their army. Linda Parrant our Executive Managing Director also makes sure her Matchmakers have huge exposure in the local papers. Did I mention how much I love the new members reception? What a great opportunity to meet all the new people at one time. I love to host new members’ receptions and really find out what they have to bring to the table so we can all help each other grow our businesses. What other organization makes you a member at large? eWomenNetwork has not only given me a great local presence and national presence, but also an international presence. I love doing business with other eWomenNetwork members and while we are all so busy building and growing our own companies, the eWomenNetwork Foundation gives us an opportunity to come together to help give back to our community and to keep the resources right here. eWomenNetwork has done for my business in less than two years what it would take most new businesses 10 years to accomplish, this is why I love the eWomenNetwork, EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW!

Why I love the eWomenNetwork By Charmaine Hammond When I think of eWomenNetwork, here is the acronym that my mind takes me to: E- Entrepreneurial W- Women O- Overcoming obstacles M- Mentoring Others, and E Empowering N – New beginnings and growth There are many reasons I love eWomenNetwork, let me focus on a few... People: I have been blessed to meet so many amazing people through eWomenNetwork. I grew up listening to Zig Ziglar, and have been using Zig’s quotes as daily inspirations, and in my writing. Sitting beside Zig and his daughter Julie was definitely a highlight of 2010. So was receiving a signed copy of a book he wrote about his dog, sent to my home months after the conference. Reconnecting with Lisa Nichols was also a highlight of 2010, and so was the opportunity to speak at one of her Speak and Write to Make Millions events. In 2011, one of the highlights for me was keynoting at the Vancouver BC's eWomenNetwork Women & Words Conference. I have received so much support from my eWomenNetwork colleagues and our amazing Managing Director, Jo-Ann Vacing! Another 2011 Highlight was having Sandra Yancey meet Toby, the star of my book, On Toby's Terms and having Toby PAWdograph Sandra's book. Passion- eWomenNetwork is comprised of women passionate about their business and helping others. I have been blessed to be a champion for so many colleagues. Giving first and sharing always fuels me to bring my most authentic and best version of myself to the world every day! Profit: My international speaking career was launched through eWomenNetwork. Through the advertisement for a speaking engagement in eWomenNetwork in California, I met my current book publisher. Paying it Forward, one of my finest moments in 2011 was presenting at the eWomenNetwork luncheon in Lethbridge Alberta, and moments after my presentation ended my computer screen flashed. My book, “On Toby’s Terms” had made it to best seller status on Amazon Canada and US! There was not a more perfect place for me to have been that day...celebrating with other incredible eWomen made the celebration much richer! I LOVE eWomenNetwork for so many reasons! When I joined eWomenNetwork several years ago, I had no idea my membership would put me in touch with wonderful women that would ultimately help me save my own sanity and give me the courage to come out of my self-imposed bondage that was filled with stressful "stinking thinking". I was a broken spirit when I joined, I needed to find the courage to walk away from a comfy six figure income in order to save my authentic self, and a long-term relationship I'd been in was ready to break up. No longer recognizing the person looking back at me in my own mirror, I didn't even know what would elicit an authentic smile. Since joining eWomenNetwork, my membership has given this quiet introvert (still at heart) plenty of reasons to smile, with the courage to stand up and be heard on a platform that gives me the opportunity to help other women do the same. Prior to joining eWomenNetwork I was a shy, timid, quiet woman that felt like she didn't have a voice. Now, as a Premier Branding Coach for eWomenNetwork and Voice Over Strategist, my voice not only speaks up for myself but for eWomenNetwork, it's members, and billion dollar organizations! WooHoo! Yes, I LOVE eWomenNetwork!

Kylin Meyer

I love eWomenNetwork because it has totally changed my life, inspiring me to live my passion and purpose NOW. At the Conference last year (July 2010) I kept hearing speakers talk about legacies, gifts, passions and making a difference. I was inspired by Sandra Yancey the very first night with her big heart and desire to help so many people with the wonderful organizations that she donates to and helps raise money for. I knew I had a passion and a desire to make a difference I just didn't see myself being able to do it NOW. However, after being inspired by so many of the wonderful speakers, especially MarciaWieder, I felt it in my gut, my very being that I HAD to act now and follow my passion. I could no longer put it off until my girls (2 & 7) were grown. When I made that decision to actually LIVE my passion NOW and create my legacy NOW it was so emotional that I started crying right in the middle of the conference. I KNEW I had to do it. You see all my life I have been around horses and grew up in a family of horse trainers. I had always wanted to start a non-profit to help teen girls that didn’t have the luxury of learning the life skills from horses. Horses are an incredible leadership tool. I'd seen troubled young women become more confident, more sure of themselves all from learning good horsemanship and communicating with their horses. Once I made this decision to live my passion NOW, it was like God turned on a switch, literally. Shortly after I committed to myself that I was going to follow my passion I was sitting at a table sharing what I just decided I was going to do and a woman at my table says she helps non profits set up their 501 C3's. I didn't even KNOW what a 501 C3 was at that time! It seemed like no matter what I mentioned that I might need or want, eWomenNetwork had a resource for me right there at the Convention! A huge blessing in my life is the St. Louis Managing Director of eWomenNetwork, Donna Gamache. Together Donna and I brainstormed the name of my non-profit, "Galloping for Girls" (www.GallopingforGirls.com). Another member donated a website. MANY members have donated items for gifts for raffles. At the February meeting of eWomenNetwork in St. Louis, Marcia Wieder was in town and someone who specifically came to that meeting, that was not a member, connected with me and provided through a foundation she runs, scholarships for those who need it and financial support for the horses. Another member made a media connection and our program was a front page story for a local newspaper. eWomenNetwork created the space and environment to make my dreams come true. This will allow me to create the environment to help hundreds of young girls make their dreams come true!! Why do I love eWomenNetwork? Because eWomenNetwork supports dreams, eWomenNetwork provides an environment of support for the dream and eWomenNetwork helps to provide the connections that are truly, truly life changing. Thank you eWomenNetwork, I love you! Kylin Meyer. founder of Galloping for Girls.

Wallis Pattisonn

Before I say why I love eWomenNetwork, I would like to digress a little, patience here please. I am an Aussie who three years ago made a huge change in her life and as part of that change moved across the pond as I call it to the United States. For anyone who has done this or made a similar huge shift in their life, this will resonate. I arrived knowing only one person, alone, feeling a bit scared and full of hope that I had made the right choices. A friend of mine in 2009 asked me to attend an eWomenNetwork luncheon with them in Seattle. I agreed, as I hoped I would meet some more people who I could build a relationship with and who might be able to assist me with launching myself...Ooops! This did not happen. Things changed however. What I am about to conclude with is why I LOVE EWOMENNETWORK! Even though the initial association with eWomenNetwork was not so successful, they did not give up on me. They waited patiently with the wisdom that comes from experience, authenticity and understanding. When the time was right, when circumstances changed, they offered me a hand of welcome and incentive to return. They were astute enough to know that life changes, circumstances change, their organization also changes, and they are savvy enough to move and adjust, that's why I love eWomenNetwork. No other organization that I have been associated with has cared enough, has been astute enough to act in this way...more than love eWomenNetwork, I respect eWomenNetwork. I had the pleasure of meeting Sandra Yancey recently, which was not long after my return. I have always believed attitude and how a company operates comes from the top and I was not disappointed... well done Mates.

Karen Sharp and Lauren Cavallaro

eWomen Network helped me change my direction in my career and ministry to one of purpose and passion. As I transitioned from an entrepreneur to a Small Business Development Center Consultant, I found a love and purpose in my work. I am now in my “Glow”.

But this story is about how eWomenNetwork helped my daughter, Lauren Cavallaro, and, in the process, her mother. Lauren attended special eWomenNetwork events since the age of 14, when she started her business as a figure skating coach. The members put their arms around Lauren and helped her build her business. Terri Craig taught Lauren how to do her 60 second pitch. Michelle Peavy pumped Lauren up as only Michelle can. Belanie Dishong hired Lauren to coach her granddaughter. Lauren knew that eWomen Network was a place where she could find love, support and encouragement, so joined as the first student eWomenNetwork member in Houston.

At convention two years ago, I attended the publishing event and decided I would write a book. I thought the book would be on a particular subject, but after several false starts, I put the project on the shelf. On June 14, 2010, five days after she graduated from high school, in tears, my daughter told me she was pregnant. We learned her pregnancy was the subject we were to write about. We decided instead to write a blog and started it after attending Michele Scism’s luncheon and webinar on social media and blogging.

Lauren and I support teen moms and their moms as they encounter unexpected pregnancies. We hope to provide resources so teen moms and their moms don’t have to go to Google to figure it all out. We want to change the conversation about teen pregnancies. From day one, we chose joy, which we learned from Belanie Dishong.

Terri interviewed us via radio and promoted the blog. We had over 1000 hits on our blog in the first 44 hours, resulting in an interview by Lauren’s high school paper. We are currently talking with our local pregnancy center about visiting schools in four local school districts to speak with their students. Excellence and passion drive a woman in business. I am grateful eWomenNetwork helped prepare my daughter for her future so she can provide for herself and her daughter. We hope to pass this on to other teen moms so they can do the same.
