Jo-Ann Vacing
Former Vice President of Marketing for an International Canadian Organization
NOW: Executive Managing Director, eWomenNetwork, Calgary, AB and 2009 Managing Director of the Year
While I have worked at all levels of Corporate Canada, including Vice President of Marketing for an international organization, I always felt as though there was a void. I was successful, and often recognized, yet still felt I was not maximizing my own abilities. I was a rebel to some and to others, a success.
I think the disconnect, in large part, was due to my need to assist others in achieving their dreams and living their purpose. So, I began my journey into volunteerism... I love being able to help others. If only I could create a business model that allowed me to assist others and give back. Well fast forward ...it was only a few short years later that I was introduced to eWomenNetwork. I was invited to an event and was amazed at the sharing and giving I witnessed. More so, I could not help but notice the collaboration and cooperation rather than competition! How refreshing to see women helping each other! I joined immediately and asked the Managing Director how I could help?
Investing in myself and becoming a Managing Director has allowed me to live my passion and really make a difference by being a resource for others.
As an Executive Managing Director, the contacts and relationships I have made are far reaching. They extend beyond my local communities to the United States and this has ensured more access to those I have the privilege of working with.
As a successful businesswoman, I am able to set and exceed my goals while living my dream! If you are considering becoming involved... If your desire is to run your own business, to connect and be connected, then eWomenNetwork is the perfect opportunity and the vehicle to make it happen. The satisfaction and rewards are priceless!
