Jill Blashack Strahan has published a book titled, Simply Shine: Stories That Stirred the Fire! Since September 2007 thousands of books have been sold and the buzz it’s generating for Jill is tremendous.

So far Jill has:

  • Spoken in five cities across the nation during a book signing tour,
  • Appeared as a special guest on CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch,
  • Been honored to appear in Reader’s Digest,
  • Been interviewed by over a dozen radio stations and newspapers all over the country – ranging from WOR Radio in New York to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune."

What does Jill say about the value of her eWomenPublishingNetwork membership?

“I am very pleased with my choice to become a member of eWomenPublishingNetwork because of their incredible knowledge.  As you probably know, publishing your own book can be downright overwhelming. But Jan King gave us the direction we needed.

Jan and eWomenPublishingNetwork helped us eat an elephant by guiding us to the resources that made Simply Shine a reality—from our copyeditor to our typesetter to our printer. They all made huge contributions, including giving us invaluable feedback on marketing and promotional ideas for the book. I have deep respect and appreciation for everything the eWomenPublishingNetwork does.

We’ve been blessed to work with eWomenPublishingNetwork and so many talented professionals.  I can’t thank them enough for their part in making Simply Shine possible.”

"How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time!"

About Jill Blashack Strahan's book, Simply Shine: Stories That Stirred the Fire:

In 1994 I hired a personal coach which changed my life. One of the long-term goals I established at that time was to write a book. Frankly, I didn’t know what the book would be about—and I didn’t even have a story to tell.

Writing Simply Shine: Stories That Stirred the Fire was more than I ever expected it to be. It was a discipline and commitment that I learned to take one day at a time. It was a labor of love. It was a clarity generator. It was a healer.

My purpose in writing Simply Shine was to inspire others to go for their dreams. I believe we settle for mediocrity in life. We allow obstacles to stop us rather than just deter us. My hope is that people will read my story and they’ll feel a spark. They’ll feel stirred and poked and prodded. And they’ll have confidence that they, too, can achieve a life they love.

Since Simply Shine was published we’ve been excited about the thousands of books that have already been sold, as well as the buzz it’s generated.

  • I spoke in five cities across the nation during a book signing tour.
  • I had the opportunity to be a special guest on CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch.
  • I’ve been honored to appear in Reader’s Digest.
  • And I’ve been interviewed by over a dozen radio stations and newspapers all over the country – ranging from WOR Radio in New York to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune."
