Smart Women Publish!
Message from Jan B. King, Editorial Director, eWomenPublishingNetwork
eWomenPublishingNetwork Publishing Conference 2005
We were delighted to host the eWomenPublishingNetwork International Publishing Conference 2005, which took place just prior to the eWomenNetwork Conference in Dallas.
With separate tracks for authors and aspiring authors, the conference provided resources and connections for both established authors who are looking for promotional opportunities and for soon-to-be-authors looking for guidance in writing and publishing.
The first evening featured keynote speaker Linda Sivertsen, award winning writer and ghostwriter, who is known as the book proposal writer who helped get a six-figure advance for Rhonda Britten of Starting Over TV fame.
Panels throughout the conference showcased the talents of the network of book professionals who regularly guide the efforts of our members.
Also part of the event, the Speaker Showcase highlighted 15 up-and-coming authors and speakers who gave presentations to the eWomenNetwork Managing Directors and a number of corporate event planners. (click here to see last years speakers)
“The showcase was so professionally done! I love the MC, the lights and the staging were perfect. I had one of my best performances ever!” – Merci Miglino
“The Speaker Showcase was a great opportunity to experience several speakers and their unique presentation styles. We plan on hiring up to 3 speakers in the upcoming months! “ --Suzanne Vocal, State Farm Insurance, Austin, TX
If you missed it, you can still get a full audio recording of the entire conference for $199 ($299 after September 30, 2005). Order here.
