In May of 2005, I traveled to Calgary to attend a eWomenNetwork meeting. I was fortunate enough to choose the meeting where Sandra Yancey was speaking.

Listening to Sandra speak not only inspired me, but further solidified my belief in the value of this excellent organization! I feel that it is very important for women to help other women succeed and the eWomenNetwork mandate certainly encompasses that. Furthermore, I believe that it is vital to the success of a business woman to continually be inspired and make new connections. As a Managing Director for eWomenNetwork in Edmonton, I am thrilled to be able to provide the vibrant business women in our community with this opportunity. In the words of Roberta Bondar, Canada's first female astronaut, "It is important for women to know that they can succeed and that they are capable of achieving their goals."

I am excited to be the Managing Director for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul. It is quite an honor to assist these dynamic women business professionals with building their businesses, professions and networks.

eWomenNetwork opens up all kinds of opportunities for women. As a member, I have witnessed and experienced for myself the development and growth of many personal and professional relationships. As a leader, my goals are to grow the chapter so that many other relationships can be established and to support a strong alliance among the women in the chapter so that everyone who wants to can be successful.

The philosophy I bring to the chapter is that everything is possible. For people to achieve beyond their expectations is to believe that whatever they want for themselves and their businesses is possible.

Innovation is only available when a person is willing to be innovative. The same is true with possibility. When you are willing to step into “everything is possible” you are able to create amazing results.

I believe our chapter will create amazing results.

Excitement is certainly in the air in Atlanta for eWomenNetwork. Women are helping women connect and get what they need in their business. It is such a joy to be the Managing Director for this wonderful Atlanta area. Networking is the business of helping people.
