Business Woman of the Year Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2005 “Businesswomen of the Year” awards presented annually by Office Depot. 

Winners will be awarded and honored at the March 2006 Office Depot Success Strategies for Businesswomen conference, a premier women’s business conference offered annually to women in business.  One winner will be selected from each of the women’s associations in partnership with Office Depot:

The awards are presented to women who demonstrate outstanding leadership within their community, business or respective association.  The winners will be selected by Office Depot’s Women’s Advisory Council in collaboration with Office Depot’s executive team.

All women business owners who are active members of the participating women’s associations, demonstrate a commitment to promoting entrepreneurial spirit and support for women in business are eligible to submit nominations to include the following criteria:

• Growth of business since its inception (in terms of rate, employee size, revenue size, product offering, etc.)
   
• Philanthropic Involvement within her community or nationwide with specific examples and achievements
   
• Explanation of mentoring and involvement in furthering the development of other women in business

Please click below to download the nomination form and submit no later than January 31, 2006, to officedepotsuccessstrategies@medelia.com (please put “Businesswomen of the Year” in the subject line) or mail to Office Depot BWOY Award c/o Medelia Communications at 2029 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL, 33020.  Supporting materials, e.g. news articles, client testimonials, etc. may accompany the submission.

Winners will be announced on February 17, 2006 and will be contacted by Office Depot via email.  Winners will be provided one complimentary conference registration, air transportation (up to $500) and hotel accommodations for two nights.
