Sheryl Westad

Director of Learning & Development at Intuit Inc.

Sheryl Westad is the director of customer care for Intuit’s employee management services organization. In this role, she is responsible for providing online training and Web-based assistance for Intuit’s payroll customers. Intuit, a leading provider of small business, tax preparation and personal finance software, also provides payroll services for 1 million small businesses across the United States.
Westad joined Intuit in 2001 and has held various executive positions in the payroll organization, including service delivery, planning and integration. She also directed the unit’s tax operations activities, ensuring timely filing of customers’ tax payments, which exceeded $2.4 billion annually.

With extensive experience in the credit card industry, Westad previously served as vice president of operations at Wachovia Bank in Atlanta, where she led the office support functions for a $1.5 billion credit card portfolio. She was also a member of the management team that founded Partners First Holdings and served as director of operations services, responsible for information technology, network operations as well as the full range of credit card customer support.

Westad attended Wesleyan College in Bartlesville, Okla., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in human resource management.
