Kimberly Phipps-Nichol is the president of Blue Water Studio, providing environmentally responsible, aesthetically chic and financially considerate design solutions for a variety of project types from corporate facilities to healing spaces and family retreats. Nationally accredited with the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and additionally trained through the Green Guide for Health Care and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools, Kimberly is also a board member of the American Institute of Architects Northern Nevada.
Additionally, Kimberly owns Blue Water Style, a custom clothing and accessories line made from vintage and organic textiles. Her pieces have appeared in the Dallas Morning News and BUST magazine.
Recently, Kimberly became a contributor to the Green Work and Lifestyle section of the GLOW Project’s magazine. When people meet Kimberly for the first time they always say the same thing: “You love what you do for a living, don’t you.” |
